By Road:

From Junction 3 of the M4 take the A312 The Parkway towards Hounslow. At the first roundabout take the first exit onto Bath Road A4 and continue across one roundabout. Follow signs for A3006 and then Lampton Road A3005. The Travelodge is situated on the left hand side.

Parking: On road parking is available outside the hotel on Bulstrode Road and is chargeable Mon-Sat between 8am and 6.30 pm. 

The nearest car park is; Bath Road, Hounslow, TW3 3BW. 115 spaces run by the local authority. Charges are; Mon-Sat 08.00-18.30 Parking is free outside of these hours.

Underground parking is also available at The Blenheim Centre, TW3 1NL for the same prices as above. A discount of £1.80 is applied if you spend £5 in the adjoining Asda.* Parking longer than 24hours will cost £50+ a daily rate but you can drive out and straight back in again.* Normal charges apply 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week. There are 24 hour security patrols in this Car Park.

 

By Rail: 

Underground: The closest underground station is Hounslow Central. Exit the station, turn left and walk for 150metres. The Travelodge is at the junction with the traffic lights.

National Rail: The closest National Rail Station is Hounslow. Exit the station towards Whitton Road (you can see a pub called Platform 3) and turn right. Follow Whitton Road as it bears round to the left. You will come to a crossroads where you need to walk straight across onto Bell Road. Continue along Bell Road crossing over at another crossroads, keeping the Treaty Shopping Centre to your right. You will pass the end of the High Street and have The Bell Pub to your left. Continue a further 150 metres and the Travelodge is at the junction with the traffic lights. This is approximately a 10 minute walk.

By Plane: 

Heathrow is the closest airport. The Travelodge is accessed by taking the Piccadilly line directly from the airport and following the above instructions for ‘Underground’.

 

 

Isleworth & Syon School/ St Mary’s Church

Isleworth and Syon School ,Ridgeway Road, Isleworth, TW7 5LJ

St Mary’s Church, Osterley Road, Isleworth, TW7 4PW

 

By Road:

Ridgeway Road & Osterley Road are best accessed via the A4. Travelling Westbound (away from London) along the A4 you can turn directly into Ridgeway Road. For St Mary’s Church, take the first right and the church is at the next crossroads.

There is no right turn if you are travelling Eastbound (towards London). You need to turn right into Thornbury Road, take the first left into Church Road. St Marys Church is at the next crossroads. For Isleworth & Syon School continue across at this junction, then right onto Ridgeway Road. 

Parking: There is on street parking available free of charge.

 

By Bus:

The closest bus stops are at Isleworth Station. If you are travelling from Hounslow you will get off at Bus Stop N, or towards Hounslow (away from London) Bus Stop F. The bus should automatically announce that ‘Isleworth Station’ is the next stop.  Routes that serve these stops are:110, 235, & 237. 

Once you get off the bus you need to walk up College Road which is directly opposite the Station. After about 150 metres the road will split and you need to take the left fork, Ridgeway Road. Isleworth & Syon School is about 200 metres along on your left. For St Mary’s Church, continue past the School and take the next left, Church Road. The Church is at the crossroads 100 metres along this road at the junction with Osterley Road.

 

By Rail:

Underground: The closest station is Osterley. Exit the station onto the Great West Road (A4) and turn left.  Continue walking 400m until you reach the junction with traffic lights on. Turn right onto Thornbury Road, after 200 metres take the first left into Church Road. St Marys Church is at the next crossroads after a further 200 metres. For Isleworth & Syon School continue across at this junction, then right after 200 metres onto Ridgeway Road. 

National Rail: The closest station is Isleworth. Once you leave the station, follow the directions above for ‘By Bus’.

 

 

St Columba’s Church

Pont Street, SW1X 0BD

 

By Road:
Pont Street is best accessed via the A4. Turn from the A4 onto Beauchamp Place (there is a Marks & Spencer Simply Food on the corner). Go straight across at the traffic lights and the Church is on the right immediately after the junction.
Parking: On street parking is available in Lennox Gardens. It is free after 18:30 only. Before this, it is very expensive and there is no alternative. We recommend that you do not drive to this venue during the day. After 18:30, you can park on the yellow lines that are around the perimeter of Lennox Gardens. DO NOT park in the parking bays in the centre around the gardens. They are residents parking at all times and you WILL get a parking ticket. Lennox Gardens is reached by turning right after the Church (if coming from the A4), at the next junction you will see a fenced garden ahead of you. Turn left and drive round the garden clockwise until you find a space.

 

By Rail:
Underground: Knightsbridge (Piccadilly Line) & Sloane Square (District Line) are close to St Columba’s. From Knightsbridge, exit the station via the Harrods Exit to Brompton Road and turn left. Walk along the A4 Brompton Road in front of Harrods for 300 metres. Turn Left into Beauchamp Place and walk for a further 450 metres to St Columba’s on your right.
From Sloane Square, Exit the station and walk round the square anti clockwise to the second road exit, Sloane Street. Walk along Sloane Street for 500 metres then turn left into Pont Street. St Columba’s is 300 metres along Pont Street on your left.

 

 

Heston Primary School

Heston Road, TW5 0QR

*Please note- The venue is the Primary School, not the Secondary School next door. The Primary School is to the left as you face the buildings from the road*

 

By Road:

If you are travelling from Hounslow, cross the A4 onto Heston Road and continue 750 metres to the school on your right. If you are travelling Eastbound, turn left into Heston Road and continue for 750 metres to the school on your right. If you are travelling Westbound, there is no right turn into Heston Road. You need to turn left at the BP petrol station at the junction with Jersey Road. At the roundabout, take the second exit, then at the next roundabout also take the second exit. You will then cross the A4 into Heston Road and the school is 750 metres along on your right.

Parking: There is plenty of on street parking in the local area.

 

By Bus:

The 111 and 120 bus routes stop near the school. Travelling from Hounslow you will get off at St Leonard’s Church stop HD. The bus will announce the stop name. You will need to walk back in the direction the bus has come from for about 100 metres and the school will be on your left.

 

By Rail:

You can get a bus to Heston Primary School from either Hounslow Central or Hounslow East stations on the Piccadilly Line. At Hounslow East, exit the station and bus stop EE is directly opposite- take the 111 from here. At Hounslow Central, exit the station, cross the road and turn right. Walk under the bridge to bus stop RR- take the 120 from here. Then follow the ‘By Bus’ directions above.

 

 

Public Transport From Travelodge to Venues

 

Towards Isleworth & Syon School/ St Mary’s Church: We recommend you travel by bus. Turn right out of the hotel and walk along Lampton Road. towards the High Street. Turn right at The Bell pub and left before you cross the road and there are two bus stops. Take the 235 or 237 from Stop U. These buses run approximately every 5-10 minutes throughout the day.  When you return to the Travelodge you will need to get off at stop W, The Bell. You will need to walk back in the direction the bus has come from for about 15 metres and you will be near the bus stop you got on at. 

 

Towards St Columba’s Church: We recommend that you travel by Underground. The closest station is Hounslow Central. Exit the Travelodge, turn left and the station is about 150 metres along Lampton Road on your right. Knightsbridge Station is 14 stops along on the Piccadilly Line.

 

Towards Heston Primary School: We recommend that you travel by bus. Exit the Travelodge and turn left. Walk 175 metres along Lampton Road, past the station to bus stop RR. The 120 runs every 10- 15 minutes throughout the day.

Oyster card

 

We would advise all attendees to order an oyster card in advance of Spring Fling. You will only be able to use either an oyster card or a UK contactless card on buses in London - NO CASH is accepted. We suggest £15 cards to start with and then they can be topped up at any underground station. Click image below to order your oyster card.

A day travel card is £8.90 (not Oyster). On Pay As You Go (Oyster) it will cap at £7.70 on each day.

A single bus fare is £1.45. Cash fares are not accepted on buses. Buses have a price cap of £4.40 per day.

A single tube journey to Knightsbridge is £2.70 on Oyster or £5.70 cash.

 

Friday you will need a return bus fare £2.90 (plus any extra travel within London)

Saturday you will need a return bus fare to the class and a return tube to the dance £7.70 (should be £8.90 but oyster  will cap at £7.70)

Sunday you will need a single bus fare £1.45 (plus onward travel)

Total- £12.05

 

UK contactless cards can also be used on London transport. The prices and capping system are the same as using an oyster card.

 

A coach will be provided on Saturday night from the hotel to Pont Street and return journey for those who want it.
